After the release of Odhani, ‘Sanedo’ has become the second track from Sachin-Jigar’s Made In India soundtrack to be released. Sung by Mika Singh, Nikhita Gandhi and Benny Dayal, this new song is of course a recreation of the popular garba number called ‘Sanedo.’ The new lyrics have been penned by Niren Bhatt and Jigar Saraiya, who had also written the words for the film’s first track ‘Odhani,’ which is based on the garba song, ‘Odhani Odhu.’

The charm of ‘Sanedo’ unsurprisingly lies in Mika Singh’s voice. He sings the chorus in his trademark nonchalant style, yet fills it with great energy. Benny Dayal hasn’t contributed much in the vocals department, but Nikhita Gandhi does get her own verse. She raps out her lines with finesse, but Mika Singh never goes out of the picture in the entire duration of the track. The video posted below only has a portion of the full song that can be listened to on streaming platforms.

As for the music video, it features Rajkummar Rao’s character being seduced by Mouni Roy’s. At the same time, a party is also going with the characters of Boman Irani, Amyra Dastur and others. As for the song itself, it has a nice dance flavour to it. Despite being a garba song, it shies away from using the traditional beats and instruments, thus creating a fresh take on the genre. And it’s Mika’s singing that really adds a lot of spice to the whole affair.

Made in China is a film that has been directed by Mikhil Musale, who has previously made the extremely popular Gujarati film, Wrong Side Raju. Its premise revolves around a Gujarati businessman, played by Rajkummar Rao, who goes to China to increase his business prospects. Apart from the said actor, Mouni Roy, Boman Irani, Paresh Rawal, Amyra Dastur, Gajraj Rao, Sumit Vyas and Manoj Joshi also star in this film.

Made In China is slated to hit theatres on October 25.
