Mill Lo Na Is Guri’s Latest Song, And It Has Taken YouTube By Storm

The new song featuring Sukhe is trending on the number 3 spot on YouTube

Mill Lo Na is a new song from Patiala-based artist Guri who is a huge name in the Punjabi music industry. His tracks Dooriyan, Yaar Beli, Jimmy Choo Choo and others have been widely applauded by fans, which is why it didn’t take much time for Mill Lo Na to grab huge popularity on YouTube.

The song is currently boasting of 5.3 million views which it has garnered in just 2 days’ time. And of course, it’s also trending on YouTube on the number 3 spot. This Guri song also features Sukhe, and has been written by Jaani.

The track is an upbeat one, which is evident right from the start. It’s about the singer having an argument with his lover and deciding to ignore her attempts to speak to him. It’s moreover, also about him rejoicing in the joy of watching her suffer. As twisted as this sounds, it’s elucidated further by the music video, directed by Satti Dhillon.

But Punjabi music videos are known for their perverse chauvinistic caressing of the male ego. So this music video is something that falls under the milder section of the regressive unit that is the modern Punjabi music video cluster, which is also something that regularly dominates the YouTube Trending page, showing the humungous acceptance that such content enjoys.

If Mill Lo Na is to be critiqued objectively, it’s a pretty catchy song. The music, composed by Sukhe Muzical Doctorz and Avvy Sra is nothing out of the ordinary, but it does go well with the tune.

Guri’s song Publicity which was released a month ago is enjoying quite a great run on YouTube. It has managed to earn more than 20 million views till date. Moreover, his earlier song Dooriyan which was outed 8 months ago is currently sitting at 105 million plus views. Jimmy Choo Choo, on the other hand, is going strong at 70 million views after just 5 months’ time.

And with Mill Lo Na already having crossed the 5 million mark in 2 days, this Guri song too seems destined to have a super strong run on YouTube in the coming months.
