O Saathi Song From Baaghi 2 Features A Charming Romance Between Tiger Shroff And Disha Patani

Baaghi 2 promises to make quite an impact on the box office, especially considering the massive hit that the first film from the franchise was. The Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer has just had its latest song released in the form of O Saathi, and it features an adorable reel-life romance between the real-life couple.

Atif Aslam is the one singing this one. This is the kind of song that suits his voice very well, and he has definitely left an impact on it. O Saathi from Baaghi 2 is a romantic track with softly sung verses. Its lyrics are its main power though.

Written by Arko, who is also the composer of this track, lines like “Allah mujhe dard ke kaabil bana diya. Toofan ko hi kashti ka saahil bana diya. Bechainiyan samet ke saare jahaan ki, jab kuch na bann saka toh mera dil bana diya” end up creating quite a dreamy mood. O Saathi hence has its lyrics as its main strength.

And like I said, Atif Aslam’s singing takes the song to a new level. His voice adds a touch of heft to it, without sound too overpowering. Baaghi 2’s other song hasn’t ended up impressing as much as this one has. Mundiyan is a recreation of the original Mundiyan To Bach Ke by Panjabi MC, and it does not manage to match the appeal of the original.

Fans of Tiger Shroff and Dishi Patani, as well as those who adored the first Baaghi film, are looking forward to this sequel with bated breath. Directed by Ahmed Khan, this film is actually a remake of the Telugu film, Kshanam. Apart from the two lead actors, it also stars Prateik Babbar, Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda and Deepak Dobriyal.

The first Baaghi film was directed by Sabbir Khan, and starred Shraddha Kapoor opposite Tiger Shroff. Released in 2016, the movie unexpectedly managed to gross more than Rs 100 crores in the Indian market, with a worldwide collection of Rs 127 crores.

Baaghi 2 is slated to be released in Indian theatres on April 29.
