It’s hard to look at Shreya Ghoshal’s journey and not be shocked. She has seen a phenomenal rise in the industry ever since she entered it, which she did at a very early age. Sung as a duet along with Arijit Singh, Samjhawan is a great showcase of what her voice is capable of rendering. And there is no surprise that this song became such a big hit when it first arrived.
Manwa Laage
The film Happy New Year couldn’t pull off much at the box office, but its music was liked by many. The top song from the soundtrack was definitely this one, with its utterly romantic tone and of course, the excellent singing by Shreya Ghoshal.
Saibo
Shreya won several awards for her performance in this song, and for good reason. She has unleashed her magic with full force in it, making the track her own. Credit is also due to Sachin-Jigar who have composed this excellent number.
Bahara
The Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan starrer I Hate Luv Storys was not quite well received at the box office, but its music sure received a lot of praise. Among all its songs was this one, sung with so much feeling by Shreya.
