After the song Dilbar, the makers of Satyameva Jayate have released a track called Paniyon Sa which has been sung by Atif Aslam and Tulsi Kumar. The song is out now with a video on T-Series’ official YouTube channel, which showcases the passionate romance between the characters played by John Abraham and Aisha Sharma.
Paniyon Sa is a pure love ballad which features a catchy tune that’s hard to get out of your head. It’s a brilliant composition from music director Rochak Kohli. Paniyon Sa is the kind of song that lets the singers take all the limelight, and both Atif and Tulsi have seized the opportunity.
Credit is also due to lyricist Kumaar who has penned some brilliant lines for this romantic number. Lines like “Aaadhi zamin aadha aasma tha. Aadhi manzilein aadha raasta tha. Ek tere aaane se mukamaal hua sab ye, bin tere jahaa bhi bewajah thaa” make you really want to look forward to the further poetry.
Satyameva Jayate is scheduled to be released this Independence Day, with John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee, Amruta Khanvilkar and Aisha Sharma as the lead cast. It has been written and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani and a few others.
About the song Paniyon Sa, Nikkhil Advani had to say “I love watching the reaction of people when they hear and watch ‘Paniyon Sa’ for the first time. The song makes you smile and feel all warm inside. Atif Aslam and Tulsi Kumar have elevated this very special number that Rochak and Kumaar have crafted for us. The story of Satyameva Jayate revolves around John Abraham’s character who has decided to take the law into his own hands by punishing the corrupt, and Manoj Bajpai’s character who is a policeman hell-bent on putting him behind bars. The first song from the film, called Dilbar, was released only a few days ago. It’s a recreation of the Nadeem-Shravan song that was featured in 1999’s Sirf Tum which starred Sanjay Kapoor and Sushmita Sen.
Paniyon Sa is only the second song from the album, and there are indeed more to come. Like we said, Satyameva Jayate is scheduled to hit theatres on August 15.
