Raazi Music Review – Every Track Is Complete With Patriotism

Raazi songs will fill you with nostalgia and love for your country after a long time

After already grabbing much attention and revving up the anticipation among followers for the release of the movie on 11th May, 2018, Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi is making news yet again for the poignant songs that tug straight into our hearts to evoke patriotism. The trailer was extremely captivating and so were the first look and the posters released before that. And now, the makers, Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions along with music directors Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who hardly go wrong with their compositions, have decided to fascinate us with the lovely tracks released recently.

Ae Watan Is Packed With Patriotism

The song which is a dedication by Sehmat (played by Alia) to her country is touching and apt for her situation. Arijit Singh’s voice for this track was the best choice and the appeal with which he has rendered this, is sure to give you Goosebumps. The song traces the journey of Alia from being an obedient daughter to a dutiful wife to the spy who is ready to die for her country. The song’s lyrics, penned down by the legendary Gulzar, are moving to the core.

Dilbaro Is A Soulful And Melodious Number

Dilbaro is a song that will fill you with emotions. With a touch of folk music to it created by the use of the Rabab, the song is set during Sehmat’s marriage and talks of her emotions and her ties as she would have to not only leave her family, but her country too. Harshdeep Kaur is the playback singer who has done a lovely job along with Vibha Saraf and the chorus is equally good, but the short portion which Shankar Mahadevan sings is perhaps what makes the song complete.

Raazi Is A Track Filled With Determination

Raazi, the title track is different from the first two songs in its feel as well as music. Once again sung brilliantly by Arijit Singh, the song is all about the willpower to dedicate oneself totally for the welfare of the motherland. The subtle use of mandolin goes perfectly well with the time during which the movie is set. The chorus again does a great job here.

Ae Watan (Female Version) Brings Back Sunidhi At Her Best

The female version of Ae Watan is equally engaging and patriotic and we get to hear Sunidhi Chauhan at her best in this after a long time. The chorus is done amazingly well by a group of kids.

Every track in the album is replete with patriotism and Gulzar’s lyrics does its job perfectly well, to fill us with nostalgia and emotions. A different album after a long time, these songs are here to stay.
