So the makers of Simmba have released the first song from the movie; Aankh Marey and the song but obviously is high on energy. It’s Ranveer Singh we’re talking about here so the energy obviously just comes naturally.
The song is a recreated version of Arshad Warsi’s hit song from his debut film Tere Mere Sapne. The song Aankh Marey Oh Ladki Aankh Marey from the 1996 film was a big hit and it’s been recreated in a fun, colorful way and the icing on the cake is that Arshad features in this special track too and the crazy Golmaal Gang Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, and Kunal Khemu join in the singing and dancing too.
It’s a nice tribute to the original song. The song makes you nostalgic about the ’90s. Both Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer have done justice to the song and they seem to be going all out and enjoying the song and dance.
The new version has been sung by Neha Kakkar and Mika Singh and the two add a fun and playful touch to the song. The original song from Tere Mere Sapne was sung by Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy.
The video starts with none other than Karan Johar dancing to the song and then Ranveer and Sara take over from him. They are joined by the Golmaal gang and Arshad makes his entry lip syncing to Kumar Sanu’s voice.
The song is entertaining and now we just can’t wait to watch this out and out entertaining film.
