The Ajay Devgn-Riteish Deshmukh-Arshad Warsi slapstick comedy ‘Total Dhamaal’ will soon be making an entry in the theatres. Said to be the third installmant of the ‘Dhamaal’ series, the makers are confident that the movie will be a huge hit in the theatres. The franchise revolves around four friends Boman, Nari, Manav, Adi and Roy play the role of conmen who get into hilarious situations. The third movie of the series continues from its prequel, “Double Dhamaal”, which was released in 2011. However, this time, the four good-for-nothing friends find themselves in a jungle. Two songs, namely, ‘Mungda’ and ‘Paisa yeh Paisa’ have already been released. This time, the third song “Speaker Phat Jaaye” has made its entry on YouTube.
“Speaker Phat Jaaye” is sung by Harddy Sandhu, Abuzar Akhtar, Aditi Singh Sharma and Jonita Gandhi. The lyrics are written by Kumaara and the dance has been composed by Ranju Varghese. It is your average party song where everything seems fantastical and unrealistic. The music video begins with the entry of a lion and Ajay Devgn (does that symbolise the strength of Devgn over the lion?) in a circus setting, and suddenly everyone is dancing to the beat. Though it is ridiculous in many ways, we need to remember that it is a comedy movie, and things are rarely realistic here. Ajay Devgn is coupled off with Esha Gupta, while Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit are seen making an appearance as well. Being a party song, you can’t expect to find any deep meaning incorporated into the song, which makes it deserve a one-time watch and that’s it.
This 3rd version of the Dhamaal series is more special as it brings together yesteryear’s popular on-screen couple Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor after a huge 17 years. This Indra Kumar directorial comedy will be released at theaters all over India on February 22nd. This movie will be reportedly marketed in a unique way, with spoofs of the trailer being released in four regional languages, namely Punjabi, Marathi, Bhojpuri and Gujarati.
