There seems to be some undeniable connection between Bollywood ballads and monsoon, as the biggest music industry in India, almost like a conspirator, keeps releasing tracks that pull on our heartstrings just as the petrichor starts to fill our lungs. Looks like the upcoming John Abraham starrer, Satyameva Jayate has recently joined this thread of conspiracy as the song Tere Jaisa from the movie’s album came out just recently. After the release of the remade Dilbar track that went viral, the lovely Paniyon Sa song and then the intense song Tajdar-e-haram, Tere Jaisa marks the release of the fourth song of the movie.

On August 1st, John Abraham shared the song with his fans on twitter. He wrote: Soulful and surreal! Immerse yourself in the feeling of love with #TereJaisa!” along with the link to the official music video of the song on YouTube. Sung by Tulsi Kumar and Arko Provo Mukherjee, Tere Jaisa is a soulful love song that will move even the grumpiest souls out there. The music and lyrics of the song have been composed by Arko as well. As far as the rendition is concerned, Tulsi Kumar is pleasantly surprising on this track, as her otherwise high pitched vocals sound a lot fuller and this change in her vocal texture makes the emotion of the song come to surface even more prominently. Arko’s vocals are as usual very smooth and expressive. The music has the typical quality of a classical-based ballad song that appeals to your sentiments as soon as you listen to the tune. The lyrics are heartfelt, simple yet laden rhetorical poesy. The song is made complete through the beautiful arrangement done by Aditya Dev, with the beautiful backing vocals of Sohum Chakrabarty, along with the guitar, tabla, shehnai and harmonium conjuring up a beautiful setting for the song to be able to flourish at its zenith.

It has not even been 24 hours since the song has been released on several streaming platforms, and it has already garnered over 10 million views on YouTube alone! Looks like it will give a tough competition to the viral song of the album Dilbar redux, which has around 99 million views on YouTube as of now.

It will be interesting to see if the movie is at par with its music that has already won over the audience. Directed by Milap Zaveri, Satyameva Jayate is slated to release on this coming Independence Day. The action thriller also stars Manoj Bajpayee and Amruta Khanvikar and the plot apparently is centred round the theme of corruption.
