The Release Of The Kalank Title Track Has Been Eventful. Here’s Why

Everyone has been eagerly waiting for the biggest release of the year; Kalank. When I say everyone, I mean the fans, audience and the stars themselves too! The actors who are part of the film, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, etc. constantly update their social media accounts with the latest images and song releases of the film.

Similarly, when Varun and Alia recently tweeted about the release of the title track of Kalank, everyone waited with bated breath to listen to and watch the visuals of the said song. Alia and Varun kept their fans waiting with the promise of the song releasing soon. However, the song did not come out in a few hours as promised by them. Infact, it wasn’t released the next day too.

Finally, it was music composer, Pritam who released a video of the making of the title track of Kalank though there was no news of the final title track. Pritam took us through his studio and gave us a glimpse of his musicians playing the instrument and Arijeet singing a few lines from the title track but that was about it.

Then Alia and Varun took to their social media once again speaking about the delay in the release of the title track.Alia wrote, “The #KalankTitleTrackNow will be out very very very soon… Just a little longer… It’s laced with a lot of love and care so it’s just taking a little time.. promise you guys won’t be disappointed..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ dada is killing it right now @ipritamofficial????????????”

Varun too added a fun twist to the reason for delay, requesting his fans to request Pritam da to release the song.

Varun wrote, “More Guys the #KalankTitleTrackOnPublicDemand is out today please ask @ipritamofficial for the song #kalanktitletracknow”

Well, the title track is finally out now and it looks visually brilliant! The film is shot by none other than the ace cinematographer, Binod Pradhan. Varun too wrote on his twitter, “Shot by the master Binod Pradhan ???? #KalankTitleTrack”. The song features Varun and Alia and is a romantic, soothing, melodious one. The song has been sung by Arijeet Singh.

Hot Friday Talks spoke to Pritam, about the reason for the delay, he said that there was no delay from his side as he had given the song to them. “You should speak to Dharma Productions for the reason. I had given the song to them, they would be able to tell you best, what the delay in releasing the song was. I have in fact, even replied to Varun’s tweet saying the same,” said Pritam.

Whatever the reason for the delay, now that the song is out, we could say it was worth all the wait, because It’s the kind of song that lingers on in your mind long after you’ve heard it.
