The Song That Has Kept The Baahubali Fever On

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was released right after two long years from Baahubali: The beginning. While all the tracks from the first movie are good, Baahubali 2’s soundtrack is far and infinitely better. The songs have been cleverly incorporated into the movie aligning with the themes and various concepts it portrays. The soundtrack surely doesn’t contain any unnecessary additions. Moreover, the song Saahore from the movie has become a massive sensation: it is the first South Indian song to cross 100M views!

Saahore incorporates various larger than life Chinese strings in addition to the typical tambourines. There is something so grand and magnificent about the use of these instruments that you will want to get down on your knees and pledge allegiance to the Alfa of the pack: Baahubali.

The song itself is just a very elaborate celebration of the sheer prowess enjoyed and mustered by the one and only Baahubali. Amarendra, played by Prabhas is seen basking in glory and thoroughly indulging in action sequences to command respect and admiration from the praja. This song puts forth some very interesting aspects of his life. People are rejoicing and revering this royal persona in their beautiful gestures. So if you are looking for something grand to listen to this is your ideal track.

The role of Prabhas’s is that of a dual role in the movie – that of Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali, the father-son duo. Daler Mehendi does his trick yet again to this number along with Mounima and MM Keeravani. Prabhas looks as invincible as ever in this music video. The larger than life heroism people talk about in books and movies is right here and you cannot miss it.

This is not the first time that music director M.M. Keeravani uses Daler Mehendi. The first time was perhaps for Rabbaru Gajulu from the movie Yamadonga in 2007. The song was okay but the singing was so great; it was an explosion.

Saahore has done brilliantly well. It is a majestic rendition and if you haven’t heard it yet, your playlist surely calls for an upgrade.
