Nanu Ki Jaanu starring Abhay Deol and Patralekha was released on the 20th of April in theaters across India and it is an unconventional movie, which talks about the love affair between a crook (payed by Abhay Deol) and a ghost (played by Patralekha). Directed by Faraz Haidar, the movie is produced by Inbox Pictures and the story is by Manu Rishi Chadha. Although the previous songs Bhoot Aaya, and the song featuring Sapna Choudhary did not quite strike the chord, this third song Tujhe Dekhti Hai Najar, released just before the movie release, is a promising track that will be loved by many.
It has been sung by the talented singer Mohammed Irfan, whose melodious voice has already won several hearts for his romantic songs. The music has been composed by Gunwant Sen and the lyrics, which are quite poignant to the situation of Abhay Deol, have been penned down by Abid Ali.
The song comes from the heart of Nanu (Abhay Deol), who is totally in love with this spirit named Siddhi (Patralekha). As the video starts, we see Abhay Deol remembering his romantic moments with Siddhi while he drives through the road. It shows him enjoying every moment of love with the spirit and while only he sees her, others don’t, and they think him to be out of his mind. He feels that it is the smile of Siddhi that has made him a good human being from being a cheat. There is a strange feeling within him, which is quite obvious for a person who is head over heels in love which a ghost.
The lyrics of the song are very touching and they flow really well with the pace and melody of the song and Mohd. Irfan’s voice is ideal in the context.

The apt lyrics show Abhay Deol at a lot to understand how this love affair happened and he feels totally lost in her love.
The song literally proves that “love is invisible” and so does the unconventional theme of the movie.
