The release of Govinda’s new film Fryday is right around the corner now, and the makers have released one more song from its soundtrack. This one is called Kauva Party and has the prolific actor dancing in his pajamas. It has been sung by Punjabi singer Navraj Hans, who happens to be the son of famous Bollywood singer Hans Raj Hans, and the son-in-law of Daler Mehndi.

Fans of Govinda will be delighted to watch the video of this one. It has the actor showing off his trademark nonchalant dance moves. The song starts with Govinda dancing in his apartment, happy that someone is about to arrive at his place. We are then shown Govinda dancing with Digangana Suryavanshi when their party is spoiled by Varun Sharma. The video also features a sequence from the movie which seems to show a funny stage recreation of Mughal-e-Azam.

This song has been composed by Gunwant Sen, with lyrics written by Sajid Qureshi. It’s an extremely energetic song, but it doesn’t quite manage to impress with its music. Words seem to have been crammed into the music, and the tune doesn’t stick with you for a long time. This is certainly not the kind of song you’d come out of the theatre humming.

Its lyrics too aren’t very witty. They try to tell the story of a party that a crow organizes, and invites other animals to it. How these lyrics tie into the film’s story is not quite clear, but the fact remains, they are very raw sounding. They don’t add to the song’s appeal a great deal.

Prior to this, two songs from the film Fryday have been released. While the first one was an Ankit Tiwari number titled Chotey Bade, the second one was Jimmy Choo which is sung by Priyanka Goyat and rapper Fazilpuria.

Fryday is a story about an extramarital affair that Govinda is having. This comedy film also stars Varun Sharma and Digangana Suryavanshi in lead roles. Brijendra Kala, Rajesh Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, Digangana Suryavanshi and Atul Mathur will be seen in supporting roles. The film’s music has been composed by various artists.

October 12 is the day on which Fryday will be hitting theatres across India. It will be competing at the box office with Helicopter Eela, 12 Jalebi, and Tumbbad.
