The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in New York has been made famous in some of the Hollywood films. It’s a famous event with massive balloons, floats, people in costumes, massive balloons, and marching bands. Once you are done watching the colorful parade, you can head for some great Thanksgiving food at the Bowery Meat Company or Artisanal Bistro.

Colonial Williamsburg is beautiful and interesting with an old world charm. It’s a pleasure to walk the streets and take a look at the old stores, wig-making shops, candlelit taverns etc. It takes you back in time, while many restaurants in Colonial Williamsburg, serve harvest dinners.
