Yumthang valley is a sight to behold, this valley of North Sikkim is rife with a variety of flowers. This nature sanctuary is home to a variety of rhododendrons, these flowers bloom from the end of February till the mid of June. It is very picturesque, with green slopes covered with trees, carpet of flowers on the grassy plains, and a crystal clear river flowing right through the valley. Sounds surreal doesn’t it? You have to see it to beleive it! AND be prepared to be in an enchanted state for weeks after visiting this place.
Temi Tea Garden In South Sikkim

The only tea garden in Sikkim, perched on the mountainside valley, is a place you should not miss. The road that leads to the garden is breathtakingly beautiful with lush ferns and cherry blossom trees.You can take a guided tour of the factory, and learn about the organic tea production while you sample the fresh organic cups of tea.
Monasteries For Some Inner Peace

Try out all the popular dishes like Momos(dumplings) , Thukpa (Tibetan noodle soup) , Sha Phaley ( bread stuffed with meat or vegetables) and the different local curries. There are many cafes and restaurants where you can try out the Sikkimese delicacies.
