Wide roads, lush green parks, and a dedicated cycling trail should make this the top of your bucket list. To top it all, the government in order to promote cycling, has declared Sundays as Special Sundays when the park is restricted for vehicles and people are encouraged to cycle in the park. It is one of the easiest cycling trails in Bengaluru.

Short yet steep climbs around a 400 year old Banyan tree is a good way to test your endurance in beautiful environs. The narrow, winding roads with frequent climbs test your mettle and keep you on the edge at all times. Though you might encounter some traffic on the Mysore Road at the beginning of the ride, rest of the trail is scenic and enchanting as you pass steep hurdles till the Banyan tree. A three- hour ride, it is advisable to get some practise before you take this ride.

Turahalli is considered as the last surviving forest patch in the city. If you are in the mood to get close to nature, and take a ride on a less beaten path, you can try this trail. But one of the tougher routes, it requires some endurance, stamina and practise. The trail goes uphill, and can get tough for some. But riding through thick forest, amidst bird calls, and drenched trees can be enchanting experience.

So, unlock your bicycles and hit the trail for a great monsoon ride.
