Give the glitzy hotels amiss and try a night or two at the premises of the London zoo. Since 2016, the zoo authorities have opened the Gir Lion Lodge. There are nine of the brightly coloured cabins where you could put up. The panelled cabins are just a few metres away from a pack of Asiatic Lions from Gir. Almost amidst the city, you will be privy to waking up to a call of the lions instead of the boring tune of your alarm on your damn mobile phones.

Stephen Wright has transformed the ground floor of his house into a museum which is now known as House of Dreams. A different kind of collections, here Wright has preserved some of the objects which are mostly not valued and thrown away. There is no space that he has left uncovered. The colourfully eccentric place is encrusted with old crockeries, Christmas crackers, trinkets, broken toys, and all other junk that you could think of. Amidst them, he has strategically placed pieces of texts that the artist relates to emotionally. A trip to the House of Dreams is going to be a surreal experience to remember.
