Doodling as an art, started way back in the 18th century. However, we cannot deny the fact that Goggle needs to be given credit for bringing this art to the forefront since its 1st doodle on 30th August 1998. “I’m more concerned about writing poems and doodling rather than studying my engineering topics” says Suchismita, who dreams of becoming a successful artist someday. ” Ever since my childhood I was pretty good at arts and crafts, but in the Indian society studies are given far more importance than co-curricular activities. Being a part of that culture, I too officially left painting and then engineering happened. Engineering wasn’t my domain and depression crept in and I lost interest in everything. While trying to survive that phase and Googling out ways to cope up with depression, “FOLLOW YOUR PASSION” was something I read. From then onwards, I started looking out for the little things that makes me happy and helps me remain positive. The journey of doodling and poetry started from there and there’s no looking back now”.
