After a brief fling with cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Riya was soon linked with the bad boy of Indian cricket, S. Sreesanth. Though the duo never publicly announced their affair, Riya being spotted in the VIP audience box of almost every IPL match Sreesanth played in the year 2011, made it very obvious. Isha Sharvani’s affair with Zaheer Khan
Isha Sharvani and Zaheer Khan were in a serious relationship for almost 8 years. The first time they met was at a function in 2005 when the Australian Team after playing their match, was about to leave India and Isha was performing at the event. Post that, Isha and Zaheer were spotted at many Page3 parties, eventually started dating. However, after 2 years the duo broke up, though a year later, they even patched up. And their marriage rumors started doing rounds soon. In 2012, finally, Zaheer and Isha broke up as the cricketer was apparently starter hanging out more with VJ Ramona.
Nagma’s affair with Sourav Ganguly
Nagma and Sourav Ganguly met in 1999 in London, but in early 2001, there were strong rumors of the affair between them. In fact, rumors had it that the couple visited a temple in South India and had performed a puja meant for married couples. Ganguly was already married to Dona Ganguly. Though their affair was never admitted by any of his family members too, two years down the line, Nagma confirmed their relationship to Savvy magazine, saying, “Whatever one says, nobody has denied anything. As long as there is no denial of each other’s existence in each other’s life, any person can say anything they want. There was a career at stake, besides other things, so one had to part. One had to weigh a lot of things, rather than be on an ego trip and insist on being together.”
Sushmita Sen’s affair with Wasim Akram
Sushmita Sen met Pakistani ace bowler Wasim Akram at a reality show in 2008 and they soon were romantically linked. Sush, who has two adopted daughters – Renee and Alisah – has been linked up with a series of men like Vikram Bhatt, Mudassar Aziz, actor Randeep Hooda, and businessman Imtiyaz Khatri. However, this time the link ups went on to the marriage extent. Rumours of Sen with Wasim Akram getting hitched made headlines precisely after the cross-border union in 2010 of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza took place. Sush rubbished the news on Twitter saying, “She wrote on the micro blogging site, “Hi guys!Been reading about my upcoming wedding with Wasim..ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!!! Goes to show just how irresponsible media can be sumtimes! Wasim Akram is a friend and will always be one!! He has a wonderful lady in his life.. rumors like these are uncalled for n disrespectful!”
Kim Sharma’s affair with Yuvraj Singh
Kim Sharma and Yuvraj Singh dated for 4 long years. There were rumours about them being ready to walk down the aisle in 2007. However, the couple suddenly broke up and the reason behind their split was apparently Yuvraj’s mother Shabnam, who didn’t approve of Kim’s habit of exposing too much in films. The other reason that Yuvraj’s close source revealed was that Kim had become obsessive and abusive – that was the reason for Yuvraj to call the relationship off.
