So the buzz doing the rounds since a day or two is that Anushka Sharma is finally tying the knot with Virat Kohli. While the speculations and rumors have intensified even more after Virat’s former coach, Rajkumar Sharma excused himself from a crucial CK Nayudu U-23 semi-final game that Delhi is supposed to play against Tamil Nadu at the Airforce Complex ground in Palam on Friday.
The news about the two getting hitched has been doing the rounds for a couple of years now but this time it’s spread like wildfire! Another reason could also be because of Virat and his friends’ travel plans to Paris on 12 December. Yet another reason is that designer of gorgeous sarees and wedding wear Sabyasachi Mukherjee was seen exiting Anushka’s house recently. It’s but natural for people to speculate and wonder if there really is a wedding in the cards soon.
Some are even saying that it is going to be a very close affair with only family and some close friends attending. Virat is very close to fellow cricketer Zaheer Khan who recently tied the knot with Sagarika Ghatge so it is possible that he too is planning to follow Zaheer’s footsteps and go ahead with the long speculated wedding! Virat had earlier said in one of his interviews that Zaheer has been a constant guide and Zaheer was also one of the first ones to know about Virat’s love for Anushka.

She replied with a firm “No!” putting all speculations to rest. However, with the sudden announcements recently of the wedding of Vatsal Seth and Ishika Dutta or Riya Sen’s unexpected wedding we won’t be surprised if Virat and Anushka suddenly bombard social media with their engagement or wedding pictures!
