Holi is a big event if you are in India. It is a grand and elaborate affair that has a lot more than colors or gulaal to it. There is, of course, the legendary bhang, and some groovy music. Holi is perhaps the only occasion where you legit look forward to getting soaked. This year B-town has had some unusual Holi escapades. Ranveer Singh, a massive fan of Pharell Williams reportedly hosted a luxuriant Holi party for the American rapper and singer because he was visiting India around this time. How did it go? Well. Pharell was definitely happy!

Pharell visited India to launch his brand new clothing line which has been tremendously inspired by this colorful Indian festival – Holi. Our Padmaavat hero, Ranveer Singh happens to be the brand ambassador of the same brand and he thought why not do something fun this Holi? Well, Ranveer Singh’s name has always been synonymous with fun and frolic. Pharell has also tweeted and asked to join him to celebrate Holi in India.

On 2nd March things did go berserk. Pharell has a huge fan base in India. These two are the two biggest entertainment faces. What else do you expect? The party surely was a blockbuster success. Ranveer Singh even posted an open invitation on Instagram beckoning people to join them too. The post also mentions that this was the first time Pharell would experience the Holi celebrations in India.

The fans were surely in for a crazy dual celebration and an explosion of lots of colors and fun. Pharell also posted two Instagram images of himself after being all smeared with colors.

Ranveer is presently engaged in shooting for the upcoming Gully Boy by Zoya Akhtar opposite Alia Bhatt. It’s based on the lives of two young rappers from Mumbai. He also has another upcoming project, one with Rohit Shetty where he is playing a cop. The movie is called Simmba.
We hope Ranveer never stops being the crazy, fun-loving and the quirky person he is!
