A few months back there was a report that stated that actor Anushka Sharma is the most engaging and influential star on social media as tracked by a global technology company and releases rankings of celebrities based on their appearance in the news. Anushka is said to be the influential star on social media as per their data collected from Twitter, Facebook, and other digital platforms. That’s not all, Anushka was also awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for 2018 for her efforts in backing films like NH10, Pari under her production banner Clean Slate Films.

Anushka who made her debut with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2009 is all set to complete a decade by the end of this year but she has accomplished much more than just being one of Bollywood’s most dependable actress. In a short span of her career, Anushka has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry from Yash Chopra, to Anurag Kashyap , Imtiaz Ali, Rajkumar Hirani to Karan Johar.
What sets Anushka apart is her myriad choice of films. She has also never shied away from experimenting with her roles in her films, she even made bald look beautiful as Alizeh in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

That’s not all, her role as a person who is possessed in Pari was something only Anushka could have pulled off. In Pari, the way she transformed from the pretty woman to the one who almost gave everyone proved her abilities as an excellent actor.
The photos of her look in Sui Dhaga which have been doing the rounds too prove that she is one actress how easily she can move from a glamorous role to a de-glam one with ease and she is one of the very few actresses who is confident to take those creative risks.

As a producer too, Anushka has proved her mettle. From NH10 in 2015 to Phillauri in 2017 to Pari in 2018, the films under her production banner – Clean Slate Films has given the industry some brilliant content-driven films. What is noteworthy in the films she has produced is the detailing in the films, from the look to the sets etc. besides the interesting content.
Anushka will soon be seen in films like Sui Dhaga which is a social commentary, Zero which is a rom-com and a thriller called Kaneda. Because of the variety of roles she plays, there is no way one can get tired of Anushka or her films!
