According to sources, Aditya Roy Kapoor will be seen romancing Disha Patani in Mohit Suri’s next romantic action-thriller. At first, Kriti Sanon was believed to be a part of the movie, but it seems that Patani has replaced her as the female lead. The untitled romantic thriller will feature a love triangle against the backdrop of Goa. On the other hand, sources have reported that the makers of the movie have put up a huge set in Mumbai as well.

Aditya Roy Kapoor has previously worked with director Mohit Suri in his breakthrough movie “Aashiqui 2” (2013), where he played the role of Rahul Jayekar opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Since then, he has been part of a number of movies such as “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” (2013), “Daawat-e-Ishq” (2014), “Fitoor” (2016), “Dear Zindagi” (2016), “Ok Jaanu” (2017) and “Welcome To New York” (2018). However, it would be Disha Patani’s first collaboration with the director. Patani was first noticed in the MS-Dhoni biopic “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”, where she played the role of Priyanka Jha opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Kiara Advani. Since then, she has worked for movies like “Kung Fu Yoga”, “Welcome To New York” and the critically successful “Baaghi 2”. Sources have reported that the movie will be released in a couple of months, and people are excited to see the brand-new pairing of Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patani.
According to some news reports, there have been disagreements between Suri and Kapoor, but it seems that they have patched up and are working well together. Sunny Singh, who was last seen in the comedy “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” (2018), would play a role in the movie as well.
Aditya Roy Kapoor will be seen in a couple of other movies as well. He will be seen in the period-drama movie “Kalank”, which is directed by Abhishek Varman. The cast includes him, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Kunal Khemu, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Dutta. “Kalank” will reportedly release on 19 April 2019. He will also start shooting for “Sadak 2” opposite Alia Bhatt, which is directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt. The movie is supposedly based on the character of Ravi (originally played by Sanjay Dutt in the movie “Sadak”) and his relationship with Alia Bhatt’s character. On the other hand, Patani will be next seen in the drama “Bharat” with Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Tabu and Varun Dhawan.
