Mirzya actor Harshvardhan Kapoor is back again and this time he plays a superhero in the film called Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. The trailer of Bhavesh Joshi Superhero was released today and people are already curious about the film.After all, almost everyone is crazy about superheroes, take the case of Avengers: Infinity War which is ruling the box office.
Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, however, is our very own desi version of a superhero movie. A superhero who wears what looks like a brown paper bag mask. The trailer opens on a comic note when three friends are discussing a graphic novel on Mumbai’s first superhero with his friends, Harshvardhan and Priyanshu Painyuli. Then we see Harshvardhan and Priyanshu take on the world with their unusual yet simple mask. These two superheroes don’t have those high tech costumes but yet manage to stand up against wrongdoers. A scene in the trailer also shows Harshvardhan get rid of his mask.
Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is about a young man who wants to challenge the wrong and his journey as he transforms from a common man to a Superhero. What was interesting about the trailer was Harshvardhan’s voice-over saying, “Hero paida nahi hota, banta hai” which means that a hero is made and not born. While we have to wait and watch whether Harshvardhan is going to be India’s next superhero, there have been other superheroes in the past who have entertained their Indian fans;
Amitabh Bachchan in Ajooba, Abhishek Bachchan as a superhero in Drona, Hrithik Roshan as and in Krrish which became a superhero series and Shah Rukh Khan in Ra One but my favorite was Anil Kapoor who was not exactly a superhero but a common man out to save the world with his invisible act. Here’s hoping his son Harshvardhan will entertain us equally too!
