Kareena Kapoor, the evergreen star of B town has proved it again that nothing can keep her away from the glances of the camera. She is a style icon, a powerhouse of talent, a gorgeous star, a hip and happening mother, and the list is endless. She has shown that motherhood does not deter a star from acting if she really has it in her. She was last seen in Veere Di Wedding and now her fans are in for a big surprise as she will again be a part of the big screen.
Very recently, Radhika Madan took to Instagram to tell the world that Bebo will feature in the sequel of Irrfan Khan starrer, Hindi Medium. The sequel has been titled Angrezi Medium and Radhika Madan shared a picture from the first day of the shoot.
Hindi Medium was a path-breaking movie which broke the stereotype of parents wanting to send their kids to the posh English medium schools, lest they be left behind in the rat race that ensues to achieve something worthwhile in their career. The movie showcased how Hindi medium schools were taking a backseat. Hindi medium was directed by Saket Chaudhary and along with Irrfan Khan starred the very beautiful Saba Qamar, the Pakistani actress. The movie won great accolades from the critics as well as the audience.

In Angrezi Medium, Kareena Kapoor will be playing a lead role. Her fans, of course, cannot keep calm because they had been waiting with bated breath to catch a glimpse of Kareena Kapoor post her glamorous phase of motherhood. Kareena Kapoor has was impeccable in Veere Di Wedding, her last movie, and we are certain that she will be great in Angrezi Medium as well. The movie will be shot in London and Radhika Madan will be playing the role of Irrfan Khan’s daughter who wishes to pursue her education in London and Kareena Kapoor will walk into the shoes of his wife.

Angrezi Medium is special for it is Irrfan Khan’s first movie after being diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumor in March 2018. The fact that he is a part of this movie despite his illness is indeed touching because, as Irrfan Khan said, the love and support of the loved ones around him have made him grow and brought him closer to hope.
Kareena Kapoor, who is busy wrapping up her shooting for Good News with Diljit Dosanjh, Kiara Advani and Akshay Kumar, will also be seen in Takht, directed by Karan Johar. Both Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor will be back on the big screens after a while, and we are really hoping that this comeback proves worthy for both of them.
Angrezi Medium will see Irrfan Khan play the role of Champak, an owner of a sweet shop in Udaipur, and the movie will release sometime in next year.
