Actress Kriti Kharbanda who is gearing up for the release of her next film, Veerey Ki Wedding along with actor Pulkit Samrat. The film releases on 2 March this year. Kriti, who was last seen as a bride in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana says that in the last one year she has played the role of a bride not once, not twice but five times!
“In last one year, I’d been a bride like five times, so I am struggling to innovate with costumes and make-up because a bride is a bride! I think next I will play a Christian bride. I don’t mind being a bride at all, I think I have become a professional Dulhan,” laughed Kriti at a recent launch of the trailer of Veerey Ki Wedding.

She also mentioned that if she had a choice she would get married in her pyjamas! On being questioned about the title of Veerey Ki Wedding being similar to the the upcoming Veere Ki Wedding starring Sonam Kapoor, Kriti said, “As far as the other film is concerned, I seriously don’t have an answer for that, very frankly! I can’t say anything I have nothing to say, this is maker’s own lookout. I am just happy that our title track has turned out quite awesome, which is titled Veerey Ki Wedding, we got a great title track out of it”
Kriti also shared how she loved being an actor and how she loved doing films, “I do films because I like doing films, in last two or three years, I have realized how much I enjoy my work and why I wanted to be an actor.Being an actor gives me an opportunity to live so many lives, so I never get bored.”

Further speaking exclusively to HFT, Kriti said that when she does get married she would like to be dressed in a lehenga designed by none other than Sabyasachi! Veerey Ki Wedding stars Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Jimmy Shergill and Satish Kaushik.The movie is about Veer Arora (Pulkit), whose life seems to be perfect until he tries to convince his girlfriend’s (Kriti) father to agree to their marriage. Things turn for the worse when his aggressive older brother (Jimmy Shergill) steps in to wreak havoc in their relationship! The film is directed by director Ashu Trikha.
