She made her mark in Bollywood with her debut movie, Ishaqzaade opposite Arjun Kapoor. She proved it that she will not be known merely as the diva Priyanka Chopra’s little sister, but she has made her own place in B town. But what’s the glamour of B town without any transformation? Bollywood stars have been our inspiration since time immemorial. From copying their dressing styles to their dance moves, they keep on inspiring us, and the bubbly Parineeti has definitely been the inspiration for one and all. She has proved that with dedication and hard work, anything can be achieved. And this birthday girl, who turned 30 today, has achieved her goal!

Her sassier avatar is a wake up call for all the overweight pretty ladies out there, for if she could, so can you. She openly admitted to weighing around 86 kilos before stepping foot in Bollywood. She used to fit in to 38 sized jeans and now she has brought that down to a size 30, and her weight loss journey will give each one of us some serious life goals. Being overweight, one of the biggest problems that she faced was dressing up.

Her workout regime had never been too strict. She did not enjoy the regular gym routine but she worked out on the treadmill every day. She did mixed work outs so that she wouldn’t get bored of the whole process and that would inspire her to keep on trying. Regular swimming and Kalaripayattu, a form of martial art from Kerala, helped her build and maintain her stamina. It made her more flexible and much stronger. According to the super star Parineeti, consistency is the key, and she tried to create a balance and experiment with new forms of workout to keep her motivated. In one of her Insta posts, she has been thankful to God, because being an actor she had the constant pressure to look better and has also expressed how people around the world has been taking inspiration from her #BuiltThatWay campaign.

Parineeti is a foodie and being a foodie she never believed in depriving herself. She used to be a couch potato and she had to give up her most loved junk, pizza, to attain her dream body. But other than that, she did not have any diet secret. She ate what she loved but in lesser quantities. She has not given up on chocolates and cakes and she sweats it out each day at the gym. She starts her day with jogging and meditation is a must for her.

She has spent quite a lot to get that killer body and has had the motivation to get what she wanted. Her journey from size 38 to 30 wasn’t an easy one, but it is definitely awe-inspiring for all of us.
