Sajid Nadiadwala is now a renowned name in B-town. Not only does he own a production house named Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, but it has produced major hits, some of which has swept the Indian audience off their feet. This film producer is celebrating his 51st birthday on 18th February. But what do we know about him? What was his journey to success like? Read on to find out:
- His first film was a Dharmendra and Govinda starrer, named Zulm Ki Hukumat (1992). In the following year, he produced Waqt Humara Hain and there has been no looking back since then.
- His production company produced a number of hits in the preceding years – Judwaa, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi are a few among them.
- Everyone was awaiting his Jaan-E-Mann starring Preity Zinta (after a really long time), Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar but it didn’t do well at the box office. However the following year Heyy Babyy compensated for this and emerged as a massive hit.

- 2010 saw many releases like Housefull and Anjaana Anjaani both of which did well. Housefull, a typical Indian Bollywood masala comedy movie has an ensemble cast. And it was perhaps one of the best comedies Bollywood witnessed in a really long time. It was loved and so much so that he made a sequel which released in 2012 starring Akshay Kumar, yet again
- In 2012 he also released Highway starring Alia Bhatt, which did quite well with a really beautiful soundtrack composed by A. R Rahman.
- He produced 2 states, based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. 2014 also witnessed the release of his first movie with two debutantes in the lead roles namely Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon – Heropanti. It has earned the tag of the second highest opening for a movie with two debutantes in lead roles. In July 2014 he inaugurated his directorial charms with the movie Kick, a remake of Ravi Teja’s Kick.
- In 2015 he produced movies like Phantom and Tamasha which did okay at the box office.
- In 2016, he produced Baaghi, that starred Tiger Shroff again, the 3rd installment of the Housefull series and Dishoom.

- In 2017, he produced Rangoon and Judwaa 2, the second version of his Judwaa.
His upcoming productions
2018 will see the release of Baaghi 2 which will star Tiger Shroff again. and in 2019, a biographical drama named Super 30 is about to release, which stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.
Well, rumor has it that he is currently working on the fourth part of his famous series Housefull which is set to release in 2019. We hope it will also be an Akshay starrer but with the other members of the cast, your guess is as good as mine.
