The Dangal director, Nitesh Tiwari, is soon going to bring a brand new pair on screen, a pair we have never seen together prior to this. Yes, we are talking about the M.S Dhoni of Bollywood, our cute chocolate boy, Sushant Singh Rajput, and the Aashiqui 2 girl, the girl who personifies innocence, our very own Shraddha Kapoor. More than the excitement of seeing this brand new pair sharing screen space for the first time, we are more anxious about their quaint look that has been portrayed in the film. Rest assured, we have never come across these two in this strange an appearance.

Truth be told, both Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput amazed us as the first poster of the movie was unveiled today. If we go by the eccentric poster of the movie, it seems as if it is a movie that tells a tale of two generations. The actors indeed look unidentifiable. The young Shraddha in the poster looks pretty, smart, chubby and has an air of careless beauty about herself. However, the slightly older Shraddha carries the aura of that timeless beauty about herself, the kind of beauty which never grows old. She has an air of serenity combined with a somber attitude, and we cannot miss that faint smile on her lips. The young Sushant comes across as a very charming lad with a contagious and impressive smile, whereas, the older Sushant portrays himself to be a measured, balanced and a somewhat disciplined personality, who has learned the lessons of life by heart. So, going by the poster, which has been Instagrammed by our very own Shraddha Kapoor, we can see two generations of people who are dressed in vigorously different styles.

This seemingly funny piece of entertainer is set against the backdrop of an engineering college. The poster, which has the names of the young characters in the movie, comes along with a weirdly funny tagline which says, “kutte kid dumm tedhi ki tedhi”. Nitesh seems to be very excited about this unique project, and that is apparent from his tweet about the start of the shoot. Given the huge success of Dangal, expectations from him are obviously high!

Now to find out what that is about we have got to wait for the movie to release. The film has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The quirky movie is sure to bring along with it gallons of mirth and laughter as it is a “timeless tale of timepass”, as said by the director himself. The movie is to hit the theatres on 30 August 2019.
