Bollywood’s very own chocolate boy Sidharth Malhotra has been quite MIA since his last release in February this year. Aiyaari, the Neeraj Pandey thriller that Sidharth starred in along with Manoj Bajpayee released on 16th February this year and quietly left the theatres without having made much of an impact on the box office. So if you are wondering what this charming young man is up to these days, apart from appearing in Ranveer Singh’s goofy fitness challenge video on social media, then we have a few answers to that.
Two of his major future projects have been announced one of which is Dharma Productions movie based on the real life story of Vikram Batra, the brave patriot who fought for the country at Kargil. Sidharth will portray the lead character of Sher Shah Vikram Batra in this project.

Another exciting project that Sidharth is going to be a part of is Ekta Kapoor’s forthcoming movie Shotgun Shaadi. There were many speculations about the female lead of the movie but according to reports Parineeti Chopra has been finalized for it and they are going to start shooting for the film from this July. The plot of the movie is based on the incidents of groom kidnapping in Bihar. Sidharth will be playing the role of a thug and hence has been taking lessons to master the language and dialect of Bihar.

Besides his professional ventures, Sidharth has been taking big steps in his personal life as well. Recently there was news of him shifting to a new abode in Bandra, as he felt the need for a bigger house and described his new home a step closer to his “perfect home” that he dreams of. But soon, speculations started doing rounds in the air that Sidharth is looking for a new apartment to move in with Jacqueline Fernandez, the tinsel town diva who he has been rumored to be dating.
