What is life without a lot of gossip added with a pinch of masala to it? Let’s face it, we all love to be a part of celebrity gossip. Some of us will be brave enough to accept it while some might chicken out, there is hardly any soul who has never lent an ear to any Bollywood gossip.
Of all the myriad genres of stories that are selling like hot cakes now, the one which recently caught our attention was the more than steaming chemistry between Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar. A lot of pictures on Instagram have been doing the rounds, and very recently we saw Farhan posting a very cute birthday picture with Shibani in which he hugged her while she hid her face in her arms. Going by the pictures, we can start speculating that maybe these two will be sharing their story of love with us soon, much like Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar met on the sets of I Can Do That in 2015. Farhan was the host of the show and there must have been sparks flying between the two since then. There were other participants like Gurmeet Choudhary, VJ Bani, and Bharti Singh, along with Shibani on the show.
While Shibani Dandekar did not think it was necessary to respond to the speculations of the media about who she was dating, Farhan has never really shied away from posting pictures with her on Instagram, which are a clear indication of the two dating. Back in October, Farhan posted a picture of Shibani holding somebody’s hand, who was had his back turned towards the camera. We can vouch that it was Farhan himself. It is never that easy to fool his Instafam of 2.2 million people. This was a confirmation from Farhan’s side.
Though Shibani said nothing out in the open about their relationship, the way she supported Farhan Akhtar on #MeToo allegations on Twitter said a lot about their love blooming. Farhan’s cousin, Sajid Khan was accused and that followed by allegations against Farhan Akhtar as well. However, Shibani stuck by him through thick and thin.
All said and done, we really hope that something great pans out for this Rock On! star. After Adhuna, he reportedly moved on with Shraddha Kapoor. If rumors are to be believed, Shakti Kapoor was against this relationship, but nothing could stop the love birds. However, even that did not work out.
We, as fans of Farhan, really hope that with Shibani he has his luck by chance, and maybe we get to hear the wedding bells sooner than we know.
