Yes, you heard that right! Actor Mohanlal is going to be turning into different animals soon. Well, not for real but for his upcoming Malayalam film Odiyan, which is one of the most anticipated films of all times.
The movie is based on an interesting subject of shape shifting which means that men can transform themselves into a different being or a creature. The Odiyan community is said to have existed in Kerala much before the existence of electricity.
In the film, Mohanlal has been show aging from the age of 30 to 65 and he transforms into various animal shapes. The makers have hired the Hollywood stunt master Peter Hein to choreograph the stunts for Odiyan.
Actor Ajay Devgn’s VFX company, NY VFXwaala will be in charge of the VFX for the film.The film is directed by VA Shrikumar who has also signed Mohanlal for another film which will be made on a huge budget of ₹1000Crore.
Odiyan also stars Manju Warrier and Prakash Raj. The movie is slated to release on 11 October this and will be dubbed in Hindi as well.
