Just as the prince was about to make vows of love to his princess and propose to her to spend her life with him, all his hopes went down the drain because the engagement ring actually fell into a drain. The good news is that the police put all their heart and soul into this, for no one can go against the power of true love. The police department started their quest of this ring on Friday, but they gave up, yielding zero results. But they came back with equal determination on Saturday morning, and with the aid of broad daylight, they fished the ring out. The New York Police Department did not just stop there. The couple, who had left in a devastated state of mind without dropping in their names, was found out by the police, and the ring was handed over to them, as good as new.

It would be safe to say that had there not been the cupid like intervention of the extremely generous police, this couple would have had a very bad proposal day to take to their graves.
