Monsoon means sticky and wet feet, and those stinky socks and feet. But not if you know some foot scrubs that can clean out your feet and prevent the smell.

Olive And Sugar Make A Soothing Scrub

Olive oil has strong moisturizing properties while sugar can act as an exfoliating agent. To make the most of this foot scrub, you can mix about half a cup of olive oil and a cup of sugar. If you don’t have olive oil at home, you can even use any baby oil or gentle oil that can moisturize the feet. Don’t mix the two too much and use it while the consistency is still granular. Rub this on your feet, massage, and wash off.

Use Oatmeal And Honey To Remove Bacteria And Germs

Take some oats and make a powder at home, but don’t grind it too much. You need it to be a little coarse, so that it can give a good exfoliating effect. Honey is rich in its antibacterial properties and is known to remove bacteria and prevent infection, which will make it great for your feet in the monsoon. It also has very moisturizing properties, which means that, even after your scrub your feet with the oats, your feet will still feel smooth and soft. Take about two spoons of powdered oats and a spoon of honey. Massage gently on your feet and wash off.

Baking Soda And Brown Sugar Can Remove The Odour

Baking soda is used to remove the stink from the feet, as it absorbs a lot of the sweat and also helps to remove the bacteria. Brown sugar will help to scrub your feet and remove the dead skin cells, which will help to make your skin feel and look visibly smooth. If you do not have brown sugar at home, you can also use the regular white sugar in its place instead. All you have to do is mix about one and a half spoon of brown sugar with about a spoon of baking soda. Rub this all over your feet and massage it gently, before washing it off.

If you notice any signs of infection on your feet, such as redness, swelling or even blisters, avoid using these scrubs and get them examined by a doctor first.
