Spider veins are usually more common in the middle age but it is increasingly affecting those who are in their late 20s or 30s.
Spider veins are a cluster of veins that become dilated and are prominent at the surface of the skin. These can look like very thin tree branches or a spider’s web, which gives it the name.
Symptoms may not be visible but can cause swelling or a restless throbbing sensation. In some cases, it can result in blood clot or sores on the skin that can become painful.
