The Health Ministry has called for a ban on selling or importing e-cigs in India, as well as other devices that use tobacco and work on the heat-not-burn method.

So, if you love your ciggies and your dose of nicotine, does this mean that this is the end for you?

Just as the axe is set to come down on one of the biggest industries in the country, one that has turned India into a nation of smokers that stands only second in the world count, something is kind of set to take the place of an e-cig and is promising to give you a healthier and cleaner, albeit relaxing alternative to smoking.

The Fusion Of Aromatherapy And Vaping

The term vape means inhaling and exhaling the vapor that is produced when you are using an e-cig or something similar.

The aromatherapy industry has now come out with an alternative to the typical e-cig by creating a device that brings along the fusion of vaping but with aromatherapy oils.

Your Very Own Personal Diffuser Stick

It contains a blend of essential oils

The personal diffuser stick is a type of pen that is now available on the market and on some online retail portals too. As the name suggests, it is actually shaped like a pen, which makes it very easy for you to carry it around with you to get your favorite scent, as and when you want it.

The aromatherapy vape stick actually looks like a pen and has a kind of plastic cigarette inside which is filled with a mix of essential oils along with water and some amount of vegetable oil. As you suck on the pen, there is a device inside that gets activated and creates a heating sensation, which then creates a white vapor cloud full of aromatherapy scents.

Even though it looks a lot like smoke, it is mainly just water, and the smoke is kind of what you would see on stage in concerts and such.

Is This Safe?

While those who have started using these feel that it definitely gives them a sense of calm, especially when they are feeling anxious and not able to smoke a cig, there is still no medical backing of how safe or unsafe these are for regular use.

You may be trying to quit, and now that the e-cig is hitting murky water, you may be looking for alternatives. The safest way to do this is to check with your doc once.
