Akshay Kumar attended a wrap-up party earlier today during the wee hours in the suburbs of Mumbai, in Juhu. The whole star cast of the movie attended the bash which took place at Estela. The party was attended by Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor who are featured in the movie. The movie is a biopic, based on the life of Indian Hockey Player, Balbir Singh who was part of Indian Hockey Team, that won the First Olympic medal for India in 1948.
When the shoot of Gold started, Akshay Kumar posted a sauve and moustached look picture of himself on Instagram, giving his fans a glimpse of his role in the movie.
They started filming in July 2017 and the movie was shot at multiple locations, out of which major part was shot in London. This movie is very special for Mouni Roy as she makes her debut in Bollywood and has an important role to play.
Mouni has been lucky to get a break as Akshay’s leading lady in her very first Bollywood film! It will be interesting to see her in a different avatar than the Naagin avatar that she is best known for in television!
Mouni who already has a huge fan following on television seems equally excited about her Bollywood Debut.
The movie is directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner Excel Entertainment. The movie is written by Rajesh Devraj. And is expected to hit the screens on Independence Day 2018.
