Veere Di Wedding shows us some great female friendships. Right from the posters to the trailer and the movie, we could witness four women being knit in the spirit of bonding and appreciation of each other. The first lesson that we have learnt is to keep our friends close, and value them always. They are our ultimate guides, and lovers. You shouldn’t take them for granted, or sometimes you should, they are yours in the first place!

Yes, women aren’t chick-flicks. In this 21st century, we are at par with men. If some woman lives her life in her own terms, make sure you support her. This is enough of a life-lesson for men and women who demean others’ lifestyles. Live and let live, champs!

When the movie first came out, orthodox people revolted against the fact that women, whom they only like falling in love with a rich guy in a movie, are being projected doing rounds in drinking, smoking and being sexually active. Another important life lesson is to not come out of the barbaric mindsets and face the 21st century scenario. The image of young and talented women isn’t just constricted to making rotis or sending kids off to school.

The most important of all the life lessons is; you are not answerable to anybody for choosing to live your life in your own terms. If someone body shames you, speak up. If someone makes a go at you, feel free to reject. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, be ready to pick up a fight! Do not apologize, ‘veeres’.
The main motive of the movie was to teach the older adults of India to not poke their judgemental noses everywhere and accept the changing behaviours of the generation. Be rich, be richer, be richest, and enjoy the time of your lives with your ‘veeres’.
