Who doesn’t love a good party song? Come 2019, and we’ve been blessed with a good number of party songs to keep us dancing on our toes throughout the year. We have some great Bollywood movies this year, which have been appreciated by the audience and critics. Of course, these movies have some amazing songs as well, and they have already started ruling the parties. With many more movies and songs yet to grace us, we have compiled a list of the hottest Bollywood party songs of 2019 to play at your next house party –

Be Part Of The Young-Generation Anthem With “Apna Time Aayega” From Gully Boy

A rap song that has currently taken the country by storm, “Apna Time Aayega” is not a phrase, it’s an emotion. Performed by Ranveer Singh himself with backing vocals by DIVINE, the song has quickly climbed up to the number one on music charts. With a beat that’s catchy, visuals that speak and raw lyrics that show the ‘tough journey to fame’, it’s no wonder that Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and the “aapna time aayega” anthem have become something of a favourite.

Celebrate Your Next Weekend With “Welcome To My House Party” From Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga

This house party song is not your average daaru-chhokri song, but a typical Punjabi family celebration. Describing it as a ‘family-friendly’ house party song, there are no beer bottle-shots, no misogyny and no curse words (c’mon, there are children included at the party). Sonam Kapoor looks pretty and demure in her royal blue skirt-style churidaar, while Rajkummar Rao looks as dapper as ever. “House Party” is sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Arjun Kanungo and Parry G.

Get Hit With The Harsh Reality In “Daaru Wargi” From Why Cheat India

Sung by Guru Randhawa, “Daaru Wargi” isn’t just about the ‘sin’ of alcohol, but includes all kinds of sensual pleasure. Displayed in a sleek fashion magazine template, the video is picturised on two boys who are slowly tempted into the world of alcohol, girls and money. “Why Cheat India” is based on the social issue of corruption in or examination systems, so we’re sure that the song plays an important role in the movie.

Why Have Beer When You Can Have “Cocacola” From Luka Chhupi

Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon bring out the desi-ness of our parties with its peppy music and crazy lyrics. The song is actually a remake of Tony Kakkar’s “Cocacola” with a rap section by Young Desi as well. Keeping in with the conventional idea of a party song, there is ‘daaru’, a bit of misogyny and dancing in the music video. The new version includes Neha Kakkar as well, along with some dance beats as well.

Have The Most Happening Party With “Mungda” From Total Dhamaal

Applying makeup. Check. Swimming pool shot. Check. Loud dance beats. Check. Hero showing his swag as he enters the scene. Check. “Mungda” is actually a remake of song of the name in the movie ‘Inkaar’ (1978), which was sung by Usha Mangeshkar. The song has suggestive lyrics and picturisation, but in a new format with the use of live guitars. The newer version is sung by Jyotica Tangri, Shaan and Shubhro Ganguly.

Though there have been countless party songs in Bollywood, we have our own favourites now and then. Fun, colourful and sometimes raunchy, Bollywood party songs are of a different level altogether. So, why not put turn on the music and just… dance like crazy?
