Hot N Cold

Hot n Cold is a song about mood swings, and how they affect relationships. This energetic track was released in 2007, and had wreaked havoc on the charts.

Firework

This 2010 release is an inspirational song that became the fifth most played single on US radio during 2011. Its video, directed by Dave Meyers, is also quite a spectacle.

Last Friday Night

Last Friday Night is a party anthem, with its lyrics talking about drunken behaviour. In fact, Katy Perry was inspired to write the song after a night of wild partying and streaking apparently.

I Kissed A Girl

“I kissed a girl and I liked it” became iconic words after this song became a massive hit. A pop rock track with heavy guitar riffs, it still remains one of Katy’s biggest hits.

Dark Horse’s beauty lies in its blend of trap and hip hop. Released in 2013, it went on to become the second best-selling song worldwide a year later.

The One That Got Away

A sad song about lost love, The One That Got Away always manages to evoke strong emotions. The credit for this should not just go to the lyrics, but also to the beautiful voice of Katy Perry.

California Gurls

This one’s a tribute to the state of California, where Katy Perry was born. The song also features verses from rapper Snoop Dogg. Its spectacular electropop nature makes it a perfect track for a dance party.

Roar

Roar was the lead single for Katy’s fourth studio album, Prism. She has just killed it with her vocals in this one, especially in the chorus portions. The song was nominated for two Grammys.

Unconditionally

Unconditionally features one of the best vocal performances by Katy Perry till date. She can be heard hitting all the notes perfectly. This is a song, which she was inspired to write after a humanitarian trip to Madagascar.

E.T.

This is one more massive hit from Katy Perry. The track blends electronic and hip-hop, while also grabbing dubstep and techno influences. A version featuring Kanye West was also released, and has a music video to accompany it.
