Earlier this month the teaser of Kesari was released in two parts making the audience curious and wanting to know and see more of the film. The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s much awaited Kesari is finally Out and it looks great.
Akshay Kumar as Havildar Ishar Singh looks believable and real. Kesari is based on the true story of the Battle of Saragarhi, in which 21 Sikhs fought fearlessly against 10,000 Afghans in 1897.
The trailer of Kesari begins with Havildar Ishar Singh (Akshay) talking about a British officer calling India the land of cowards. There are war scenes that look rustic and real and also sword fighting that looks very interesting. Looks like the film has some very catchy dialogues too. There is a glimpse of how Parineeti Chopra looks proud as Akshay heads to the battle.
Akshay has teamed up with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for the movie.The film is directed by Anurag Singh and the film went on floors in January.The film is patriotic and has come at the right time when the whole country has come as one to condemn the cowardly killing of some of our brave hearts at Pulwama.It talks about how we Indians are a brave lot and can take on anyone without fear. The film looks very inspiring.
Akshay who has had to wear wigs and prosthetics for this film had earlier said that the role has been very demanding as he hates wearing wigs and prosthetics and also expressed how difficult it was to shoot in the heat with that get up. But he said this is so far his favorite look.In the trailer Akshay also explains that Kesari or the colour saffron is the colour of bravery and sacrifice.
The film has been beautifully shot and looks like a lot of research has gone into the film.The trailer of Kesari looks impressive.
