Siddhart Malhotra is the latest one to join the list of actors turned singers, with his rap in the song, Bandook Meri Laila, from the action-comedy; A Gentleman – Sundar, Susheel, Risky, which is set to release on 25 August, 2017.
Bollywood actors making a singing debut is not new, quite a few of them starting with Bachchan senior, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan to Priyanka Chopra , Sonakshi Sinha and Alia Bhat have all made their debuts in singing in their respective films or otherwise. But there are many more who still haven’t tried their hand at singing. Here’s a list of some of them we would love to hear sing and the genre we think would best suit them:
Sunny Leone
We know she’s learning to play the piano, as we had written about it in an earlier article, but wouldn’t it be interesting to hear her sing as well? We think it would be fun to hear her sing something on the lines of; “Dil Cheez Kya Hai” from Umrao Jaan. If she even performed on it, it would be a bonus for her fans!

Ranveer Singh
Ranveer Singh has shown a keen interest in not only singing but also writing the lyrics for the Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boys which he is a part of. We’ve often heard him sing and rap at promotional events but it would be great to hear rap in real. Though he has revealed that he is a terrible singer, we think he would make a great rapper!

Ranbir Kapoor
We’ve seen him play a soulful singer in films like Rockstar and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, we would love to hear him in the same genre too. Since we have that picture of him etched in our minds, we can’t imagine him sing anything else but soulful Sufi.

Deepika Padukone
Producer Dinesh Vijan calls her his lucky mascot and he had a special song picturised on her in the Sushant Singh and Kirti Sanon starrer, Rabtaa. But what we would love to hear her sing is some real sentimental or romantic numbers.

Katrina Kaif
We’ve seen her recently dance and croon to ‘Jhumritalaiyya’ in Jagga Jasoos, we’ve also watched her lip sync to Chikni Chameli,Sheila Ki Jawani and Dhoom Machale. But what would be interesting to listen to Katrina sing, would be an opera style song.
