It’s a soft romantic song that manages to invoke a pleasant feeling in you not just with its tune but also with its singing. Well, Sanam has already outed a cover for this song on their channel, and it’s almost equally pleasing to hear.
Sung by lead singer Sanam Puri, this track has been in the trending section of YouTube since it was released on December 30. Since then, it has garnered 2.1 million views, and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
One of the reasons the cover is being loved so much is that it has been released when the popularity of the original track is at its peak. The band has given its own touch to the music, as always.
It’s Sanam Puri’s trademark voice and singing style that turn out to be the main distinguishing factors. The musical arrangement isn’t too different from the band’s other songs moreover. Samar Puri takes charge of the lead guitar, whereas Venky S handles the bass guitar. Percussionist Keshav Dhanraj has chosen to work with the Cajon once again with this one.
The beat is kept simple, and the music is never allowed to overpower the vocals. And why should it be, when you have the talented Sanam Puri at the helm.
The video is well shot, but it’s nothing extraordinary. In fact, it has been shot entirely indoors, in a single room. This is perhaps because the band wanted to get the video out as quickly as possible to cash in on the popularity of the original Tiger Zinda Hai song.
