After having been released on audio streaming platforms, the Jatt Ludhiyane Da song from Student of the Year 2 has been released in video form. This music video is live now on the Zee Music Company YouTube channel, and has managed to grab more than 4 million views in about 24 hours. The video has Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria dancing at various locations in their school, while Ananya Panday also makes an appearance for a short rap portion.
Like all other songs from the film, Jatt Ludhiyane Da has been composed by the pair of Vishal and Shekhar. The song benefits from a catchy hook, but the rest of the parts are pretty bland. The lyrics of the chorus go, “Hoya ki je kudi hai tu, Delhi shehar di, main vi jatt Ludhiyane da.” Vishal Dadlani and Payal Dev have performed this duet with a lot of energy, and this adds character to the song. The rap portion has been performed by Deane Sequeira, who also ends up impressing.
The music video of Jatt Ludhiyane Da shows a blooming romance between the characters of Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. Meanwhile, Ananya Panday appears in the middle of the song, with her pessimistic attitude towards love. Everyone gets to showcase their dance moves, but there are no prizes for guessing who takes the cake. Tiger Shroff’s ultra-flexible body is on full display in this song, just like in the rest of the film.
The Student of the Year 2 soundtrack features six songs, all of which have been composed by Vishal and Shekhar. All the songs are out now on major streaming platforms, but only 5 among them have been blessed with music videos. Main Bhi Nahin Soya, sung by Arijit Singh, is still to get its music video released.
Student of the Year 2 is slated to release in theatres across India on the 10th of May.
