It’s just not possible to forget his numbers from the movie Rockstar, isn’t it? He has that perfect tinge of romance and freshness in his voice that weaves magic on the films. His voice is something which stays in the mind, for a long, long time. But, worry not, if you were missing his voice all these months, buck up to listen to one of the most romantic number of 2019, ‘Jee Len De’ from Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW).
Picturised beautifully on John Abraham and Mouni Roy, the song speaks of pain in love. It’s a Punjabi number but as any other Punjabi songs depicted in a Hindi cinema, it’s not too tough to comprehend. The most romantic lyrics by Murali Agarwal and Shabbir Ahmed and soulful music by Aditya Dev makes this song a must-have romantic track on everyone’s playlist!
The best thing about this upcoming Hindi movie is that it has some of the best songs. And like any other song from RAW, ‘Jee Len De’ also gives a hint of how beautifully romantic this movie will be even if it’s genre is not fully romance. The handsome hunk John Abraham and the petite & pretty Mouni Roy makes up for a very fresh pair, indeed. The song plays in the background and there isn’t any lip-sync with the actors which makes up for a great imagination for the viewers. The song speaks of love and longing and this is what will make the audience relate to it the most!
The movie is based in the year 1970 when the famous India-Pakistan war was about to happen. John’s character, Rehmatulla Ali, is a theatre artist as well as a banker, and is also a spy who loves his country. According to sources, Sushant Singh Rajput was selected for this role, however, once he backed out, John Abraham was roped in for the same. Mouni Roy, on the other hand, has already made her name in the industry with her strong performances in films like Gold, starring opposite Akshay Kumar. Coming from a small town and after a quite a long stint at a few famous TV shows, it’s finally time for Mouni to look ahead into the Bollywood sphere, quite evidently.
Save your dates for the 5th of April as it’s the day when this movie is releasing. Like other successful political thrillers by John Abraham, let’s hope that RAW also gets the same amount of love and support from the audience and at the Box Office.
