Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie, Zero, will see him in a brand new avatar. Romance has been King Khan’s forte since time immemorial, and this romantic comedy directed by Aanand L. Rai will see King Khan playing the role of Bauua Singh, who is a short man from Meerut. While this can be called one of the most anticipated movies of the year, a part of our anticipation has been quenched with the release of its song, titled “Mere Naam Tu”.
Needless to say, the mellifluous melody of the song catches our attention at the very first go. The video of the song features the newly married Anushka Sharma. She plays the role of Aafia, a patient suffering from cerebral palsy. What wins our heart is that our King Khan has not taken his age seriously at all, and he still continues to rock it with his impressive dialogues. We see him trying to win over his lady love with his flirtatious yet cute lines. The beautiful song with extremely touching lyrics is picturized on Anushka and Shah Rukh, and it is most definitely going to be the love song of the year.
Singer Abhay Jodhapurkar has done a great job indeed. The beautiful words of the song have been woven by none other than Irshad Kamil, and the composers of this soulful track of love are Ajay-Atul. The song has been shot with the backdrop of Holi, and it definitely spreads the colors of love as the song sees the blossoming love story of these two imperfectly perfect couple.
What has been portrayed through this song is that true love knows no boundaries. We see how two physically challenged people make us go weak in our knees, and the song surely rebuilds our faith in the existence of true love. The movie has Katrina Kaif as well in one of the lead roles, but for King Khan and Anushka we can absolutely say, “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”. Bauua has it in him to sweep Aafia off her feet in every way possible.
Zero features Abhay Deol also, and we also catch a glimpse of the legendary actress, Late Sridevi. The movie is all set to hit the screen on 21 st December, and we have saved the date already as we cannot wait for this new story of love to surprise us very pleasantly.
