There’s a new song out now on the YFilms YouTube channel in the form of Dimaag Ke Taale Tod Na. This track has been performed by 6 Pack Band2.0, a group of children with special needs. And while Mika has contributed with his vocals, Tiger Shroff has also been roped in by the makers to star in its music video.

Like all the songs under this initiative by Y-Films & Brooke Bond Red Label, this one too tries to steer your attention towards an important issue. This time, the makers have chosen to show the bullying that kids with special needs face in day to day life.

The words Dimaag Ke Taale Tod Na go very well with this idea. The song has a bhangra feel to it, and who better to do justice to it than Mika. He has blessed this track with his trademark casual vocals that always somehow make you want to shake a leg.

But the real stars, of course, are the members of 6 Pack Band 2.0. Ananya Halarnkar, Anjali Ramesh, Maitreya Matale, Parth Padhye, Prerna Agarwal and Rishaan Patil who are back with yet another brilliant performance. They contribute to Mika’s portions with excellent chorus voices, and later even ace a rap portion of their own.

The music video of Dimaag Ke Taale Tod Na is set during a Holi celebration where a young girl with special needs arrives to just have some fun. While she is enjoying her time there, the people around her start reacting to her presence negatively, and she is asked to leave.

A member of 6 Pack Band 2.0 sees all this and tweets about this incidence. This tweet prompts Tiger Shroff to arrive at the celebration and surprise the little girl by playing holi with her.

Dimaag Ke Taale Tod Na has been composed by Shameer Tandon, who was also responsible for the creation of the band’s previous track The Isspeshal Yaari Song. The words for this track have also been written by the same lyricist, Kumaar, while the rap portion has been taken care of by Ashish Patil.

Dimaag Ke Taale Tod Na is an important track for the message it is trying to send across. Y-Films & Brooke Bond Red Label deserve praise for coming up with the idea of creating such a platform.
