After releasing the first song from Jabariya Jodi in the form of ‘Khadke Glassy,’ the makers of the upcoming film have launched one more track called ‘Zilla Hilela.’ This one has been pictured on Sidharth Malhotra, who is seen shaking a leg with Elli Avram. The film, which stars Siddharth and Parineeti Chopra is scheduled to hit theatres on August 2.
‘Zilla Hilela’ has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi as a straight up dance number. It has an abundance of dhol beats in it, and has been given a Bihari flavour in keeping with the setting of the film. The lyrics also follow this pattern. The song’s chorus goes, “Patna heele, baliya heele, chhapra hilela. Oh chhori lachke. Gori lachke. Teri lachke jab kamariya, saara zilla hilela.” Tanishk Bagchi himself has written the lyrics, along with Shabbir Ahmed.
Jabariya Jodi is the second film that Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra will be doing together, with the first one having been Hasee Toh Phasee, which was released way back in 2014. Directed by Vinil Mathew, it was produced by Karan Johar, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap. The film did quite well at the box office, and the makers of Jabariya Jodi will be hoping their film does the same.
Jabariya Jodi has its story based on the concept of groom kidnapping that’s prevalent in some parts of Bihar. Despite the serious topic, the film has been made as a comedy, and is being directed by first-time director, Prashant Singh. Apart from the lead pair, it also stars, Javed Jaffrey, Sanjay Mishra, Aparshakti Khurana, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Neeraj Sood and Sheeba Chaddha. It has been produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.
Like we said, Jabariya Jodi will be released in theatres on August 2.
