Come on, be true to yourself. Have you ever kissed someone of the same sex when you were with friends and had too many drinks? Or did you ever try it out as a dare and actually had a goofy time you both laughed about?
Or did you not really do anything, but had a more than regular interest in that person and maybe, even had a few interesting and intimate dreams where you saw them?
And here comes the biggest confusion – you also like people who are of the opposite gender!
Confused?
Well, this could very well be a phase. Or, it could actually be who you are, and what you really want in life, but maybe are not really sure about it yet.

If you really want to understand what’s going on with your emotions and want to find out whether this is going to be just a fun phase of experimenting, or if this is really something that is what makes you happy, here are a few signs that could help you take a call.
- You are more interested or attracted to people of the same gender than to those who are of the opposite gender. It is possible that you are also attracted to those from the opposite gender and have had dates or been intimate with people from the opposite gender, but the attraction you feel towards those from your own gender is far more.
- Each time you are ‘connected’ with someone of the opposite sex, it is more of an emotional connect rather than a physical one. But, when you are with someone of the same sex, you feel this strong physical urge to be with them and explore more.
Before you decide which side you are on, do remember that this can very well also be a phase. Feeling attracted towards the same sex does not mean you are definitely a bisexual. It could be that you are looking for some excitement and are just going through an experimental phase.
Yet another way to get a better understanding about this would be to see your own reaction when you are trying to be intimate with someone of the opposite gender. Do you feel excited, or does it kind of bore you, or not really excite you, but you are still doing it because that is what you are supposed to do?
If you have these feelings too often, maybe you can give your bisexual leanings a shot and see where it takes you.
