No matter how much you get to hear the phrase, “This generation of today…”, which is mostly followed by some irking negative remarks, in reality you are doing great. Well that is to say the least. You are actually doing better than the baby-boomers.
Millennials Are Better Off At Handling Emotional Issues

Unlike the baby-boomers, millennials are quite matured at handling their emotional issues. Be it a fight with their friends or a failed love relationship, they do not run to their parents to shed a drop of tear or two. They shut themselves up from everyone else for some time and then they just bounce back to life.
Better Relationships With Their Siblings
The baby-boomers shared a more formal kind of a relationship with their siblings especially if the age difference were a bit more. Today, the millennials are interacting with their siblings more like a friend, and getting a lot of things sorted. While the younger ones are seeking advice and learning from the elder sibling(s), the latter also are not ashamed to learn a thing or two from their little brothers or sisters.
Spending To Make Memories
Unlike the baby-boomers who mainly focussed on spending and saving money on things like buying a house or a car, millennials are more inclined towards making memories. Millennials are going out on trips, creating and checking out items from bucket-lists, associating with NGOs, and many more.
Millennials Are More Transparent
Some credit goes to the parents of the millennials. They have offered them the chance of talking with them without hesitation. These parents have been termed as ‘helicopter parents’ – they have been taking care of all the small things in the life of the millennials. Thanks to them, millennials are more transparent, direct and determined, than the baby-boomers were. They are also the reason why millennials have got the chance of having a different outlook towards life than the baby-boomers, who were mostly blinded by the existing traditions without questioning them.
By all means, the millennials are proving to be a lot better than the baby-boomers. They are also conscious about certain things like the environment and their health, unlike the baby-boomers. May the good sense always prevails in the fearless and empowered bunch of millennials.
